Violin stolen from Hounslow Train, UK, 15/11/16
Stolen: 15 Nov 2016 - 20:00 - On a Southwest Train to Hounslow from Waterloo
This is a much-needed, much-loved violin. Attempts to retrieve it have been unsuccessful so we're now appealing to violin resellers throughout London and beyond to keep an eye out.
Description of Instrument:
The case is a tradition violin shaped black case with red lining
The violin has "Paganini Concert Violin" stamped on the top of the back. It has a tail-piece inlaid with a flower pattern. The two attached photos are the only ones I have, but will be sufficient to identify it.
The bow is stamped "Hill" and has a frog with no decoration. The tongue of the frog (in the ferrule) has been thickened with an additional piece. Silver tip.
Owner:
Madeleine Pierard
