Deceased Dad's 1953 Gibson Acoustic - Sister Sold for $$, I am desperate to have back
Stolen: 26 Dec 2021 - Tennessee
Was not actually today. I don't know when she sold it. She just moved and I asked about where it was and I found out. She would have most likely sold it from Nashville or Knoxville, Tennessee.
Description of Instrument:
Honestly, I don't have a great description of it. I will try to find a photo. I just found out my sister sold it without giving me the option to buy it. It was my dad's most prized possession. He bought it on his 10th birthday in 1953. My sister Holly would have sold it from around Knoxville or Nashville, TN.
I know this is the longest shot in the dark but I have to take it. If you come across anything that might match please reach out. My dad's name was James. I don't know if it might be on the case or strap or anything. He dies when I was young but my most video memories of my dad are of him playing that guitar and singing La Bamba and Brown Eyed Girl to me. Thank you for your time.
