A beautiful cello built by Guust François in 2008 (Baldantoni model), in excellent condition and completely original.
This cello was my trusted companion throughout my studies in The Hague and Amsterdam and my early years with the Dudok Quartet Amsterdam. It was my main instrument from 2008 to 2017 and can be heard in action on various YouTube recordings, as well as on the first two Dudok albums, Métamorphoses and Labyrinth (links in comments). With a rich and versatile tone, this instrument projects effortlessly in orchestral and chamber music settings while blending beautifully with fellow musicians. It has carried me through countless hours of practice, competitions (Bordeaux, Weimar, Heerlen), and hundreds of concerts.
The cello can be tried out in the Amsterdam area, dm for the asking prize!
