Burkart Elite piccolo, Mancke headjoint

A fantastic professional piccolo that's exceptionally easy to play, with a warm sound, great projection, and excellent intonation. Mechanism is very light and smooth, so it's really a pleasure to play.
The Mancke headjoint is incredibly responsive — articulation is quick and clear, medium wave cut makes it easy to switch back and forth to flute. This piccolo has been played in many professional orchestras in Scandinavia.
I purchased it new from Flutistry (Boston, USA) and have been its only owner (until now!). It's been well taken care of, most recently COAed at Flutistry, Nov. 2023.
