Maestro Daniele Ciaccio, Cremona (Italy), 2023, model "Giuseppe Guarneri Filius Andreae 1695"

This Giuseppe Guarneri “Filius Andreae 1695” cello model was handcrafted by Maestro Daniele Ciaccio in his workshop in Cremona in 2023.
Red spruce was used for the top with medium and regular grain. The two-piece back has irregular grain and is made of prestigious Balkan maple as well as the head and sides.
The mounted end pin and his screw are made of brass, Bender brand. They give this instrument a big, bold sound, with warm colors and a powerful presence. The flat screw, also made of brass, improves the combination between the cello and the spike giving less mechanical losses, which promotes a stronger and cleaner sound.
The Wittner tail piece is made of high quality plastic with four precision fine tuners. It is ultra stable and ultra light, does not negatively interfere with the sound and allows the wood to play freely.
The varnish made by the Master is aged red-brown oil.
