Mirecourt 4/4 cello

Lovely mid-range quality instrument with oil varnish made around 1920, with label: ‘Arthur Parisot – Impasse de la Baleine, Paris’. Complete with French bow (Delille) and fibreglass case.
Warm, rich tone, and in very good state of repair for its age. Easy to play, because, while it is full-size, with a 30” (760mm) back, the string length is only 682mm, similar to a 7/8 instrument. This actually makes an enormous difference for the comfort of the hand, especially when it comes to doing extensions.
