Teacher of Music
Commencing Autumn Term 2025
We are looking for a new Teacher of Music to join the department, as it expands in line with increased teaching provision. The successful applicant will be expected to teach across the full curriculum from year 9 to A level. In addition, all members of the music department are heavily involved in the co-curricular programme, including the direction of all the major choral and orchestral groups and a large proportion of smaller ensembles. The successful applicant will similarly have a practical speciality as a musician and there is some flexibility here, though a background in rock/pop, an affinity with music technology or strong keyboard skills would all be an advantage. There are also opportunities for ensemble direction.
