Position: Repetiteur / Assistant Conductor (Member of the Artistic Bureau)
Hours: Part-time, 28 hours per week (0.7 FTE)

Job Description: We are seeking a talented musician who can guide and inspire others, with a passion for being part of an artistic team. The role involves preparing and supervising rehearsals, accompanying on piano, organizing auditions, and supporting the artistic office in various capacities.

Key Responsibilities:
Accompany rehearsals on piano for soloists and ensembles.
Prepare music parts and provide support during rehearsals.
Organize auditions and assemble ensembles.
Contribute to repertoire choices, casting, and programming.
Coordinate schedules and maintain contact with performing staff and external stakeholders.
Scout and develop new talent, and coach singers.
Advise on musical materials and manage music rights and licenses.

Requirements:
Undergraduate or postgraduate degree in orchestral conducting or equivalent qualification.
Experience in supervising and leading opera performances.
Extensive knowledge and passion for music and opera, especially contemporary repertoire.
Excellent piano skills and experience in accompanying and conducting singers.
Ability to work well in a team.
Good command of main operatic languages.
Interest in discovering and developing new talent and working with amateur musicians.

Audition Process:
1st Round (17 April 2025): Includes piano solo performance, playing, singing and conducting from piano, textrecitation and sight-reading with min.preparation.
2nd Round (28 April 2025): You will receive the information for a 2nd round after selection.
