London Symphony Orchestra
First Violin Co-Leader (sitting No. 2) and Sub-Leader (sitting No. 3)
The Co-Leader position includes a 10% minimum of leading work.
If you’d like to apply for both positions, please specify this when asked in your application details. The first round audition requirements are the same for both positions.
First round auditions will be via online submission through Musical Chairs.
IMPORTANT - You must have submitted your application AND first round recording by Sun 9 February.
Second round auditions will be a live audition in London in between 14 – 25 May 2025 (exact dates tbc). In exceptional circumstances, we will hear second round auditions online.
Regretfully we are unable to accept applications from candidates from Visa National countries due to recent changes to visitor visa restrictions at this time (https://www.gov.uk/guidance/immigration-rules/immigration-rules-appendix-visitor-visa-national-list).
