Slovak National Theatre in Bratislava invites applications for the position of

First trumpet player with piccolo trumpet duty

The auditions will be held on 28th March 2025 at 10.00 AM
in SND new building on Pribinova 17, 819 01 Bratislava
Application deadline 17th March 2025
Start date 1st April 2025

Applicants are kindly requested to submit their applications including:
Brief professional CV
A copy of the highest attained degree certificate in Music
(minimum degree requirement is conservatory or – in case of schools outside Slovakia, a degree from a secondary school in a givenspeciality) , or a certificate of current university studies in a given speciality;
Personal data processing (GDPR) consent (a permit written in the application mail).

Audition repertoire:
• J. Haydn Trumpet Concerto in E flat major 1th mov. Allegro with cadenza and 2nd movement Andante ( to be played on Bb tuning only)
• a piece of free choice accompanied by piano (should be not from the classical period)
• orchestral excerpts from the standard repertoire available at the following link: https://snd.sk/konkurzy-na-umelcov,
• sight reading.

If the candidates require a répétiteur provided by the SND free of charge, they are kindly asked
to send the request along with the application.
Candidates are also welcome to bring their own piano répétiteur at their own expenses.
We offer a starting salary from Euro 1,850 before Tax + artistic and personal bonuses + 1-week extra vacation.
