Piano Course with Gareth Owen

• The Piano Course will be primarily focused on developing skills for solo playing, learning and performance. Each student will be offered one-to-one lessons and a public masterclass with Gareth, as well as the opportunity to participate in a piano duo/four hands. Practice facilities will be available for all participants during the course.

• There will also be opportunities to discuss aspects of piano study, including developing skills in sight-reading/quick study, elements of piano technique and practice methods, choosing repertoire, as well as general discussions on preparing for life as a professional pianist.

Applications are welcome with the following guidelines:
• Applicants must be 16 years of age and over
• A standard of Grade 8 Distinction and above (or equivalent) is required
• Applications must include a recording of a minimum of 7 minutes of music taken in the last 6 months
