REPERTOIRE:
Antonín Dvořák: Symphony No. 8 in G major, Op. 88
Antonín Dvořák: Cello Concerto in B minor, Op. 104
Johannes Brahms: Tragic Overture, Op. 81
Ludwig van Beethoven: Egmont Overture, Op. 84
BASIC INFO:
– a total of 120 minutes of podium time for each conductor with the full North Czech Philharmonic Orchestra Teplice.
- General rehearsal and final concert with the full North Czech Philharmonic Orchestra in the House of Culture Teplice.
- Professionally produced video recording of the final concert.
A maximum of six participants will have the opportunity to rehearse with the full North Czech Philharmonic Orchestra under the guidance of Norbert Baxa. The conducting course focuses on gaining interpretative experience, developing technique, and acquiring the ability to lead rehearsals with a professional symphonic orchestra. The highlight of the masterclass is the final concert, held in the House of Culture in Teplice.
