International Conducting Competition "Hans Swarowsky"

The International Conducting Competition, held every two years in the Metropolitan City of Milan, this year dedicated to "Hans Swarowsky", offers a unique opportunity to competitors, to conduct an Orchestra in each phase of the Competition, with double conducting of the orchestra in the first preliminary phase with two different programs on two separate days.
Competitors will thus be able to demonstrate their skills in front of an orchestral team from the first preliminary phase, and through 5 rounds. One third of the candidates will always be admitted to the next phase.
The competition is open to musicians of any nationality, without age limits. Interested candidates can apply from April 14 to July 18, 2025; the Competition will take place from September 15 to 20, 2025. Candidates are required to send a video to demonstrate their skills (free of charge); the candidates admitted will have to confirm their participation through official registration and payment of a fee.
