The 80th Concours de Genève is open to all orchestra conductor born after 13 November 1991, regardless of gender or nationality.
Application deadline: 7 May 2025
Application fee: CHF 250.-
Official Prizes:
1st Prize: CHF 20,000.-
2nd Prize: CHF 12,000.-
3rd Prize: CHF 8,000.-
Many special prizes.
The 2025-2026 Conducting Competition follows a unique two-year format, providing young conductors with the opportunity to develop and showcase their artistic vision and leadership. In collaboration with the Composition Competition, finalists will premiere newly commissioned works while conducting a diverse repertoire with prestigious ensembles such as L'Orchestre de la Suisse Romande. Masterclasses, workshops, and professional collaborations will support their artistic growth throughout the competition.
