The August-Everding-Music-Competition for the promotion of highly talented young musicians was founded in 1987 by August Everding together with our board member Helmut Pauli.The Münchener Konzertverein e.V. has been in charge of the competition since 2018.
his year, for the first time since 2006, it is being organised in the piano category for highly talented pianists. Participation is open to international pianists who are not older than 28 years.
A maximum of 9 pianists will be selected for the semi-final in Munich. Three of these will then be admitted to the final on May 27th 2025.The annual competition is one of the central musical and artistic themes of the Münchener Konzertverein e.V., which has committed itself
to the support and promotion of music and in particular young talents. According to its motto MUSIK GIBT. (Music gives).

The participation is free of charge.
