Carlo Sanvitale International Composition Competition

The Carlo Sanvitale International Composition Competition is organised by “Amici Della Musica - Guido Albanese”, and its goals are
1) to give contemporary composers the possibility to present their compositions to the public.
2) to give composers the possibility of acquiring skills by working with a chamber ensemble.

The submitted works must satisfy the following criteria:
- Orchestration (max.): 2 violins, viola, cello, piano, tenor or soprano;
- The length of the composition must be between 3 and 10 minutes.
- The difficulty level of the composition must correspond to the skills of an advanced amateur chamber ensemble with a conductor.

The author of the winning composition will receive a prize of 150 euros. Composers ranked first, second, and third will obtain a SCODO license by Universal Music, Vienna.

Selected pieces will be performed in a concert organised by Fondazione Jupiter, Vienna. A special prize will be granted to a composition related to the Italian Risorg
