Head of Guildhall Young Artists Norwich

Location: Working from home and City of Norwich School (Saturdays during GYA term time). Please note the Saturday centre will be located at Wymondham High Academy from Autumn term 2025

We seek to appoint an energetic and dynamic musician, drama or production arts practitioner and administrator with a strong track-record of education sector delivery and organisational development to ensure that Guildhall Young Artists Norwich provides an excellent creative education to every child and young person who attends.
The successful candidate will be committed to developing young students, from a variety of backgrounds, to reach their full potential. They will be a self-starter with excellent communication skills, who can build positive relationships with parents/carers, staff, students, and partners, and will maintain a culture which fosters collaboration, innovation, diversity, and a lateral approach to problem solving.
The new leader of this growing centre will manage a varied portfolio of tasks, including Safeguarding, an upcoming centre venue move, and management responsibilities (including budgeting). He/She will have a proven track record as a practitioner and educator, have sound artistic judgement and a passion for encouraging artistic excellence in a creative work environment.
