Tutti Musician - Violin

Position Overview:
As a Tutti Musician, you will be an essential member of the orchestra, contributing to its performance excellence. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional proficiency in their instrument, contributing to the orchestra’s diverse and dynamic sound. Your commitment to high standards of performance, discipline, and teamwork will be pivotal to the success of the orchestra’s artistic vision.
Key Responsibilities:
• Actively participate in all rehearsals and performances, maintaining high standards of musicality and technique.
• Collaborate with the Artistic Director, conductors, section leaders, and fellow musicians to realize a cohesive and unified artistic vision.
• Perform a wide range of orchestral repertoire, with an emphasis on both classical and contemporary music.
• Contribute ideas to programming and repertoire, ensuring the orchestra’s artistic direction is both innovative and rooted in tradition.
• Prepare thoroughly for rehearsals, ensuring all musical materials and performance logistics are organized.
Qualifications and Experience:
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Music or equivalent professional experience. Advanced degrees or specialized training in instrumental performance are a plus.
• Experience: Proven experience as a performer in orchestras or ensembles. Background in classical music, with the ability to perform a variety of musical styles.
• Skills: Mastery of instrumental technique with the ability to adapt to various musical genres. Strong collaborative skills and exceptional communication abilities.
