State Opera - Plovdiv announces an audition for a full-time position for Harp Principal.
Requirements for applicants:
1.. Completed higher or secondary music education.
2. Experience and practice in ensemble music making.

The audition will take place on 19.09.2024 at 10:00 a.m. in the Chamber Hall, House of colture "Boris Hristov", Plovdiv.

Audition repertoire:
1. One movement of a harp concerto of choice
2. A harp solo piece of your choice from the Romantic or Impressionist period

3. Orchestral excerpts:
* La Forza del Destino, G. Verdi - Overture
* Aida, G. Verdi
* Salome, R. Strauss - Dance of the Seven Veils
* Swan Lake, PI Tchaikovsky - cadenza
* Fantastic symphony, E. Berlioz - second movement - The Ball
* The Tzigane - Concert rhapsody for violin and orchestra, M. Ravel – cadenza

Sheet music of orchestral excerpts will be provided upon request.
