After School Choir Club Leader (Little Voices)

Little Voices is seeking a passionate and engaging choir leader to run an after-school choir club in Harrow. The successful candidate will lead one choir initially, with the opportunity for multiple placements as our school partnerships expand. This role is ideal for someone who loves working with children, prioritizes their enjoyment, and focuses on building musical skills and confidence through ensemble singing.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead fun and engaging after-school choir sessions, fostering a positive and encouraging environment for children to be the best they can be.

Help children develop their musical skills, confidence, and teamwork through singing and performance.

Ensure the safety and well-being of all participants during sessions.

Communicate effectively with parents, school and Little Voices Principal regarding the children's progress or any needs or concerns.

Requirements:

Enhanced DBS check on the Update Service (required).

Liability insurance (required).

Safeguarding Certificate (required, we provide training).

Fire Marshall Certificate (required, we provide training).

A 12-hour pediatric first aid certificate is preferable, but can be obtained after appointment.

A genuine love for working with children and a passion for music.

Strong leadership and communication skills.
