Percussion Teacher

Sheffield Music Academy is on the lookout for an exceptional and inspiring percussion teacher to join our team. If you're enthusiastic about nurturing young people’s musical development, we'd love to hear from you.
As a percussion teacher at Sheffield Music Academy, you'll have the opportunity to work with young musicians of all ages and stages, from beginner to advanced levels. Your role will involve:
•Deliver engaging, dynamic lessons to individual students and in small group settings.
•Inspiring young people to fulfil their potential through fun, rewarding, and engaging learning.
•Promote a safe, inclusive, and supportive environment.
What We're Looking For:
•Conservatoire training in percussion.
•Experience performing orchestral percussion.
•Proven experience teaching percussion to young people of various ages and stages.
•A passion for fostering young people to be their best, with experience helping them to develop both technically and artistically.
•A proactive, can-do attitude with a focus on delivering excellence, while maintaining a professional approach to all aspects of the role.
•Professional attitude towards safeguarding, promoting best practice at all opportunities.
•Available to work 30 Saturdays each academic year in Sheffield.
The successful candidate will be subject to a DBS check, we will provide this for you.
