Music History Teacher
We need a music teacher to teach music history.
The teacher is responsible for leading and teaching a studio of 5-8 students, fostering their musical growth and development. In addition to teaching individual lessons, the teacher will also contribute to the broader music program by participating in chamber music courses, coaching groups, and fulfilling extracurricular duties. The ideal candidate will possess a comprehensive understanding of music theory and history, and be committed to continuous professional development.
For the Music History lesson, the teacher is responsible for leading and teaching courses in music history to a diverse group of students.
The teacher will also contribute to the overall quality of the music program and participate in extracurricular activities, faculty development, and the broader academic community.
This position requires a deep understanding of music history, the ability to communicate complex ideas clearly and engagingly, and a commitment to fostering a love and appreciation for music in students.
