I’m selling my beloved piccolo, as it is no longer being played. This has been played professionally in orchestras and in piccolo recitals & concertos. "Harold" was previously owned by the much-loved late Eva Stewart (BBC NOW).
Philipp Hammig grenadilla wood body with original metal headjoint/ebonite lip-plate, but best played using the P. Hammig grenadilla wood headjoint (with lip-plate & modified wave) or the Jan Junker grenadilla wood headjoint (with modified wave). The piccolo was overhauled in May 2024 and the work comes with a one year guarantee by the repairer. New cork pads on trill keys, thumb keys, G# key, C & Eb keys and new Pisoni MyPads on all other keys.
Currently available to try at Just Flutes & happy to post internationally.
