Cello:
Superb 3/4 Hand-Made Cello by Henri Delille with Hiscox Hard Case
Prezzo: 1,895.00
Beautiful 3/4 cello with fine tone woods and varnish, used by a Grade 8 student in solo and orchestral performances until last term (he's now progressed to a full size cello). New bridge, soundpost and strings about five years ago when set up by professional luthier William John. Warm, rich tone with good clarity.
Highly attractive back in two matching pieces of maple of strong medium curl descending across the back from the centre joint. The ribs, pegbox and scroll of similar curl. The front of spruce of medium grain in the centre broadening towards the flanks. The varnish of a warm orange-brown colour on a light golden-brown ground.
In ready to play condition. A few minor knocks, bumps, scratches etc consistent with careful use - please study the photographs. The cello is in Wimbledon and you are welcome to come and try it (call 07710 179 791). Hiscox hard case has been well used but remains serviceable.
DELIVERY WITHIN LONDON POSTCODES IS AVAILABLE FOR £80.
