Richard Hermann Pfretzschner built about 1925

This viola bow is angular and made of solid and stable dark red pernambuco wood. The branding mark H.R.Pfretzschner can be seen on the bow stick by the frog and the typical branding mark of the Saxony coat of arms can be seen on the original frog. The silver mounted bow has a total weight of 67g. Excellent playing characteristics. The high stability of the wood compensates the relatively low weight of this viola bow. Light and easy spiccato with perfect balance. The violin bow will then be sold with a certificate from Carl-Hans-Karl Schmidt Dresden 12/2017.
