State Opera - Plovdiv announces an audition for a full-time position for Viola (Tutti) orchestra players.
Requirements for applicants:
1.. Completed higher or secondary music education.
2. Experience and practice in ensemble music making.
The audition will take place on 3.10.2024 and 4.10.2024 at 10:00 a.m. in the Chamber Hall, House of colture "Boris Hristov", Plovdiv.
Audition repertoire:
1. Concert of choice 1 part with cadenza or 2 and 3 parts.
2. Solo piece of choice with or without accompaniment
Orchestral excerpts:
- Verdi - Don Carlos from number 9, and part of the finale
- Andrea Chenier from 1 act
- Brahms – Symphony No. 4 in E minor
- Beethoven Symphony No. 5 in C minor Op. 67, Andante con moto
Sheet music of orchestral excerpts will be provided upon request.
All works are performed with piano accompaniment.
