Salary range $74,615 – $81,639. This position is only open to Australian Citizens, Permanent Residents of Australia, or New Zealand Citizens. If applicants are unable to travel to Hobart, the TSO will accept recorded auditions.

Excerpts released for live auditions: Tuesday 17 September 2024
Applications close: Wednesday 2 October 2024, 4pm
Final deadline for recorded submissions: Two days following a confirmed recording date, but no later than Tuesday 7 October 2024, 4pm
Audition date: Tuesday 15 October 2024
Start date: January 2025


Audition Requirements:

Set works:

Either Hoffmeister Viola Concerto in D Major OR Stamitz Viola Concerto in D Major, 1st movement and cadenza if applicable

AND

Either Bartok Viola Concerto OR Walton Viola Concerto OR Hindemith Der Schwanendreher, 1st movement only of any of these concertos.

AND

All orchestral excerpts
