The Extremadura Higher School of Music "MUSIKEX" is announcing the Opera Conducting Course 2025. This course offers the opportunity to conduct Verdi's opera "Rigoletto."
The course will include the soloists, choir, and orchestra required for the performance of the opera.
Each active student will have 180 minutes of podium time during the course sessions (with piano; with piano and soloists; with orchestra; with piano, soloists, and choir; with orchestra and soloists; with orchestra, soloists, and choir)
On Sunday, August 2nd, in front of the Old Cathedral, there will be a final concert performance of the opera with the participation of all students.
The course will be taught by Francisco-Antonio Moya, artistic director and principal conductor of the La Mancha Philharmonic Orchestra, musical director of Producciones Telón, and professor of conducting at the Royal Conservatory of Music in Madrid.
