Conducting Courses at University of Arts Berlin

The University of Arts Berlin (UdK Berlin) offers 3 high podium-time courses of study led by Prof Harry Curtis with a wide roster of international guest teachers such as Marin Alsop, Steven Sloane, Trevor Pinnock, Johannes Schlaefli, Eva Ollikainen, Catherine Larsen Maguire and Giovanni Antonini
- Advanced Professional Training for Conductors (APT): unique 1-year course for conductors already beyond the master's level or with conducting experience seeking to refine their skills and make new contacts
- 2 year MMus
- 4 year BMus
(all courses can be studied as non-pianist)

Courses include conducting numerous professional orchestras, the UdK Studio Orchestra and at opera houses such as Komische Oper Berlin (on average once every 1-2 weeks) and entry to rehearsals of Berlin orchestras with conductors such as Vladimir Jurowski and Ivan Fischer.

Tuition fees: BMus & MMus: tuition free. APT: 2500€/semester.
