Advanced Programme - String Quartet

Guided by the Quartetto di Cremona, the String Quartet Advanced Programme is a concert-oriented training path, designed for pre-established ensembles, deeply committed to pursuing a professional career. Its distinctive feature lies in its integrated structure, which combines the main lessons with a range of complementary activities, including masterclasses with renowned artists as Guest Professors, workshops on chamber music repertoire and numerous artistic projects.

The lessons are organised so that every group can study with each member of the Quartetto di Cremona – Cristiano Gualco and Paolo Andreoli (violins), Simone Gramaglia (viola) and Giovanni Scaglione (cello). This attending mode provides groups with ample time for studying the repertoire and consents a better understanding of the peculiarities of each role of the quartet ensemble.
