International Workshop for Young Composers 2025

IDEA (International Divertimento Ensemble Academy) 's International Workshop for Young Composers 2025 will be held from July 26th to August 3rd in Sofia (Bulgaria), to encourage the participation of composers from the Balkan area in the training offer of Divertimento Ensemble. The application for the workshop is open to anyone, but 50% of the available places will be reserved for composers from Balkan countries.
The workshop is hosted by National Academy of Music “Prof. Pancho Vladigerov”, with tutoring by Peter Kerkelov, Mauro Lanza and Fabien Lévy. The ensemble in residence is the Divertimento Ensemble, conductor Sandro Gorli.
