2nd International ArtePiano Composers’ Competition 2025

Applications for the 2nd INTERNATIONAL ARTEPIANO COMPOSERS’ COMPETITION 2025 are now open! We are inviting composers of all ages and nationalities to take part and to submit a work for either SOLO PIANO, PIANO DUO (2 pianos or 4 hands) or VIOLIN & PIANO with a maximum duration of 6 minutes.

Apart from a cash prize for the winner, the world premiere of the winning composition will also be performed at the International ArtePiano Festival & Competition 2025 in Castelnuovo di Farfa, Italy.

Our jury consists of world renown composers and concert pianists Roberto Russo (Italy) and Jamie Wilding (USA/Souh Africa).

This competition appears to include an online round that charges over €35. musicalchairs is concerned that the fee for online judging must be commensurate with the value offered to applicants whether they are successful or unsuccessful. Is the Jury for the online round published and are they widely respected musicians?
Does each Jury member listen to the submissions in full?
Do applicants receive detailed and considered feedback about their complete performance/score from the Jury?
