International Vocal Competition ‘Tommaso Traetta’ X Edition

The Traetta Opera Festival announces the 10th edition of the ‘Tommaso Traetta’ International Competition for young opera singers. The competition will take place at the ‘Tommaso Traetta’ Town Theatre in Bitonto, on the 1st and 2nd of October, 2024.

The competition is divided into three rounds:
1. Online qualifying round.
2. Semi-final, for competitors who are found suitable in the qualifying round. The winners of similar international competitions are directly admitted to the semi-final (see art.6)
3. Final, for competitors who are found suitable in the semi-final round.

Awards:

1st Prize: € 2,500.00
2nd Prize: € 1,500.00
3rd Prize: € 750.00

Special Awards
‘Tommaso Traetta’ Special Prize: engagement for a role and/or a concert in the 20th edition of the Traetta Opera Festival 2025, remuneration to be determined.
