Selmer Mark VI tenor saxophone
Stolen: 05 Jan 2018 - Between 13:15 and 19:00 Pacific Standard time - The Orpheum theatre, Vancouver, BC
Description de l'instrument:
Selmer Mark VI tenor saxophone, serial number M73842
Stolen with a B & N “lost wax” (black hard rubber) mouthpiece and a Vandoren Optimum ligature.
The horn was stolen without a case.
My tenor saxophone went missing from the stage of the Orpheum theatre in Vancouver on January 5, 2018. This sax was given to me by the late Ross Taggart – a dear friend of mine & a well-loved key figure in the Vancouver and Canadian jazz scene. Ross passed away from cancer in 2013.
This instrument has huge sentimental value for me.
Please contact me if you can help me find this missing saxophone.
The first two photos below were taken before custom "key risers" (6 of them) were added to the palm keys and right hand side keys. The last photo is provided to illustrate the style of these key risers - this is not a photo of the missing saxophone.
