Bassoon:
Heckel #7761
Prix: $50000 USD
I am selling my beloved Heckel bassoon (#7761) after more than 50 years. It has been used in numerous orchestras throughout my college years and after in a variety of orchestras and chamber groups. According to the Heckel records, it was built in 1936. It has been maintained throughout my 50 years with it by Jimmy Keys of Nashville, Tennessee, including a complete overhaul in 1996. Jimmy inspected it last in late 2024 to assure it was in excellent condition. He said at the time that it is an exceptional instrument. It includes an excellent case and nylon cover in mint condition and a #2 Heckel bocal. It has an exceptional tone and response making it suitable for the most demanding literature. $50,000 (USD).
