16" viola (1986), purchased at Robertson's Violin Shop in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Some minor flaws in the wood on the front side of the instrument; back side is smooth and uniquely beautiful. Full, resonant tone. A great student instrument with new strings. Regularly maintained and cared for over the years.
