Flutemakers of Australia Headjoint solid silver

This is a very rare, handmade, solid silver headjoint by the Flutemakers of Australia. "Flute Makers of Australia was formed in 1978 by John Lehner and Ray Holliday and continued for about 20 years. It was a very important partnership, producing handmade heads and flutes that are sought-after around the world".
I bought it from Just Flutes in London in September 2023 for 1020 GBP plus customs and taxes. The cork has been replaced by a specialised technician who takes care of the instruments of the students of the internationally well-known music school in Detmold, Germany.
The headjoint is in perfect condition, the sound is very warm, full and rich. It`s extremely easy to play in all registers.
