The back is in two pieces of wood marked by a small curl and the sides and head are of medium curl. The table is of pine with fine grain in the centre opening slightly towards the flanks. The varnish is a light golden brown colour.
This instrument is in a good state of preservation, measures 359mm in length of body.
This violin has a beautiful tone and would suit a professional musician.
Certification: This instrument is certified with documentation from W.E. Hill & Sons. It has been in the possession of the current owner since 1989. It has a professional valuation document from 2015.
