The instrument can be heard on multiple CD albums, such as the world premier recordings of Vanhal and Emanuel Moór cello concertos.

The cello has a beautiful, resonant sound and is recommended primarily for solo performances. Performing with this instrument has won players several prizes at competitions, such as the Tonali Grand Prix in Hamburg and at the Janigro in Croatia. The instrument has been used by the principal cellist of the Budapest Festival Orchestra.
