This is a lovely warm instrument with a rich and even tone across all strings. It has a beautifully free and open sound which projects without shrillness, unlike many smaller violas.

I played this instrument during my studies and beyond into my professional career. It has served me very well in auditions and subsequent professional work/trials including principal roles. This instrument stands the test of projecting easily over an orchestra and I’ve had many lovely comments attesting to this. It is a fantastic instrument which has really helped further my playing.

I’m reluctant to sell such a gem of a small viola but unfortunately the time as come!
