We are seeking dynamic and passionate Principal Musicians to join our world-class orchestra and lead their respective sections. This is a unique opportunity to be part of an internationally recognized institution, contributing to the global cultural landscape and enhancing musical traditions across a diverse range of instruments.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead your section, ensuring consistent, high-level performance in rehearsals and concerts.
• Work closely with the Artistic Director and Conductor to bring the orchestra’s artistic vision to life.
• Mentor and guide junior musicians, fostering a collaborative and creative atmosphere.
• Perform prominent solo parts, including concertos and featured passages.
• Contribute to repertoire selection and assist with scheduling rehearsals, performances, and tours.
Key Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Music or equivalent; Master’s degree preferred.
• Minimum 5-7 years of experience in a leadership role within a professional orchestra.
• Exceptional proficiency in your instrument and extensive orchestral experience.
• Strong leadership, collaboration, and mentoring abilities.
• A passion for both classical and contemporary orchestral music.
