The candidate works closely with the colleagues within the section, the section leader and all other colleagues. He/she interprets and performs orchestral parts in order to contribute to an optimal performance. He/she prepares his/her own parts, identifies possible problems and performs the musical parts with an eye to quality. He/she takes part in auditions within his/her own section.
