The Opera Australia Orchestra seeks outstanding musicians to fill
two permanent Tutti Cello positions

Audition dates
Thursday 5 and Friday 6 September 2024
Applicants must be available on both days

Remuneration package
Starting from $97,789 including superannuation and allowances

Repertoire requirements
1. Haydn: Concerto No. 2 in D Major: first movement only, with cadenza
2. Choice of first movement only of either:
a. Dvořák: Cello Concerto in B minor Op. 104, B. 191; or
b. Schumann: Cello Concerto in A minor Op. 129
3. Orchestral excerpts (issued to applicants from 1 July 2024)

This position is open to Australian and New Zealand Citizens and
Australian Permanent Residents only
