Ponce International Composition Competition

Welcome to the Ponce International Composition Competition, a unique opportunity for composers worldwide to showcase their creativity and be celebrated on a global stage. Open to composers of all ages, genders, and nationalities, this competition invites the creation of new, original works for mixed choir, treble choir, or children’s choir. Winning compositions will be premiered in the scenic city of Ponce, Puerto Rico, during the Grand Finale Concert, a vibrant celebration of musical innovation and cross-cultural exchange.

Submissions are open for pieces ranging from three to five minutes. Each work must be unpublished, completely original, and submitted with a translation if not in English. To ensure impartiality, all scores will be submitted anonymously, identified solely by a unique five-digit code. Composers are welcome to submit multiple works.
