Upper Strings Teacher

As an upper strings teacher at Sheffield Music Academy, you’ll have the opportunity to work with young musicians of all ages and stages, from beginner to advanced levels.

Your role will involve:
•Deliver engaging, dynamic lessons to individual students and in small group settings.
•Inspiring young people to fulfil their potential through fun, rewarding, and engaging learning.
•Promote a safe, inclusive, and supportive environment.
•Availability to work 30 Saturdays per academic year in Sheffield.

What We’re Looking For:
•Conservatoire training in violin and/or viola.
•Proven experience teaching bassoon to young people of various ages and stages.
•A passion for fostering young people to be their best, with experience helping them to develop both technically and artistically.
•A proactive, can-do attitude with a focus on delivering excellence, while maintaining a professional approach to all aspects of the role.
•Professional attitude towards safeguarding, promoting best practice at all opportunities.

The successful candidate will be subject to a DBS check, we will provide this for you.
