Finest and rare cello master bow by Philipp Paul Nürnberger (ca. 1915) with authenticity certificate
Precio: on request
Superb, perfectly balanced master bow in a fine state of preservation, made by Philipp Paul NÜRNBERGER (1882‒1946) ‒ brother of Carl Albert and son of Franz Albert junior.
The octagonal stick’s strength and flexibility ‒ on a par with French bows costing 2-3 times as much! ‒ facilitate effortless, virtuoso handling, tonal brilliance and mighty sound projection.
Renowned experts in the field of old German bows (Klaus Grünke, Hieronymus Köstler, Mathias Wohlleber, Benjamin Schröder, et al.) agree that, in terms of craftsmanship, Philipp Paul's bows ‒ particularly those of his early creative period, of which this bow is an exquisite example ‒ are superior even to those of his celebrated father.
In order to test this bow's playing and tonal characteristics, you can borrow it at any time free of charge (personal delivery or worldwide insured shipping).
