Deutschland ca. 1800/1850

This violin has recently been expertly reworked by a violin maker and brought up to modern standards. It has a very appealing wood quality with a finely flamed whole back. It has a light golden-yellow varnish and a balanced, multi-faceted sound with a pleasantly easy response. It is lightly built and charmingly aged. Old damage is visible on the top and neck, which has already been repaired at an earlier date. They do not require any further repair at the present time. The instrument is completely ready to play and can be inspected and played in the Berlin area.
