A fine English violin by John Furber, London. Circa 1820.

A fine full-size Amati copy violin, made at the Royal Exchange for John Betts.
The violin has a warm honey nut varnish and a beautiful diamond inlay on the back.

The violin has had a new neck and scroll made sympathetically at some point in the past.
Two F hole cracks, all restored to a high standard. No sound post or back cracks.

Length of back 353mm
String length 326mm

The violin would suit a player looking for a smaller full-size violin. The violin produces a sweet, warm sound not too loud.

Nice collectors concert grade violin.
Any questions feel free to ask.

I do have an audio recording for this violin however I can’t upload it so if you would like to hear it please message!
