Assistant principal viola
The auditions will be held on 16th April 2025 at 14.00 PM
in SND new building on Pribinova 17, 819 01 Bratislava
Application deadline 6th April 2025
Start date 1st May 2025
Applicants are kindly requested to submit their applications including:
Brief professional CV a copy of the highest attained degree certificate in Music
(minimum degree requirement is conservatory or – in case of schools outside Slovakia, a degree from a secondary school in a givenspeciality) , or a certificate of current university studies in a given speciality;
Personal data processing (GDPR) consent (a permit written in the application mail).

Audition repertoire:
one of the concertos : K. Stamitz concerto for viola and orchestra D major / F. A. Hoffmeister for viola and orchestra D major – 1th movement (with cadenza) and 2nd movement
1th movement from one of the following concertos ( accompanied by piano):
B. Bartók Concerto for viola and orch.
W. Walton Concerto for viola and orchestra
P. Hindemith Schwannendreher for viola and orchestra

Should candidates require a répétiteur to be provided by the SND free of charge, they are kindly asked to submit the score to the above address 2 weeks prior to the audition at the latest. Candidates are also welcome to bring their own piano répétiteur at their own expense.
We offer the winning candidate a starting salary from Euro 1,720,- before Tax + artistic and personal bonuses + 1-week extra leave in addition to the legally set vacation.
