The Royal Danish Opera is looking to hire an experienced and skilled répétiteur
The Royal Danish Opera presents audiences with the unmatched live experience of opera, operetta, musicals, and symphonic music. We welcome artists and ideas from all over the world whilst exporting art made in Denmark across the globe.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

• Preparing roles with singers and actively coaching them musically, linguistically and technically – both ensemble singers and Young Artists.
• Playing music and staging rehearsals with conductor and/or stage director, and leading ensemble rehearsals from the piano.
• Playing recitatives on the harpsichord, fortepiano or piano, and/or orchestral keyboard instruments in opera performances and concerts of the Royal Danish Orchestra.
• Attending stage rehearsals or performances as necessary to monitor progress and general level of performance.
• Playing for occasional opera and orchestral auditions.
• Playing for performances of touring productions, outreach projects and concerts.
